God's Original Ten Commandments Found in the Bible

This is the Original Ten Commandments of the Bible

(1) Exodus 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
(2) Exodus 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee a graven image, nor any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. 5: Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them, for I Jehovah thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, upon the third and upon the fourth generation of them that hate me, 6: and showing loving kindness unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.
(3) Exodus 20:7 Thou shalt not take the name of Jehovah thy God in vain; for Jehovah will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
(4) Exodus 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9: Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work; 10: but the seventh day is a sabbath unto Jehovah thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy man-servant, nor thy maid-servant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 11: for in six days Jehovah made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore Jehovah blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
(5) Exodus 20:12 Honor thy father and thy mother, that thy days may be long in the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee.
(6) Exodus 20:13 Thou shalt not kill.
(7) Exodus 20:14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.
(8) Exodus 20:15 Thou shalt not steal.
(9) Exodus 20:16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.
(10) Exodus 20:17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife, nor his man-servant, nor his maid-servant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor anything that is thy neighbor's.

The following version of the 10 Commandments is taken from the Roman Catholic Catechism.  The Catholic church uses the Catechism to teach their parishioners, which is why most Catholics and Protestants do not know that there has been a change to the Laws of God.

NOTE:

Notice what Jesus says in Matthew 5:18 about the Law of God (the 10 Commandments)

King James Version: (Matthew 5:18) For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

New Living Bible Version: (Matthew 5:18) I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not even the smallest detail of God's law will disappear until its purpose is achieved.

Here is what the Roman Catholic Church did to God's Commandments.

The Catholic Papacy removed the 2nd Commandment, i.e. not to worship idols, from the Catholic Catechism;

They then divided the 10th Commandment into two commandments  to make up for the removal of the 2nd Commandment. This was done to reflect the correct number of commandments for the 10 Commandments

They also changed the day of worship from the Sabbath, Saturday to Sunday observance. (i.e. Changed the Original Fourth Commandment)

(5) You shall not kill.
(6) You shall not commit adultery..
(7) You shall not steal.

As you can see, many changes were made to the Original 10 Commandments of the Bible in the Catholic Catechism.  So now you can see why the Catholic church is charged with changing the Laws of God and trampling on the Character of God.

Now the Catholic church says that the Lord's Day is Sunday since they have changed the day of worship... But...

Which day is the Lord's Day and what Day of the Week does the Sabbath fall on?   Let's see what the Holy Scriptures of the Bible says.

The Sabbath:

(Exodus 20:10)
But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

(Leviticus 23:3) Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.

(Leviticus 24:8) Every sabbath he shall set it in order before the LORD continually, being taken from the children of Israel by an everlasting covenant.

(Deuteronomy 5:14)
But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou.

(Matthew 12:8)
For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.

(Mark 2:28)
Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

(Luke 6:5)
And he said unto them, That the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

(Deuteronomy 4:29) "But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul."
